iGoogle

I like creating my own homepage with iGoogle more than I thought I would. However I could not add all the widgets to my pages that I clicked on. A fluke?

Skype

I have used Skype frequently, both with/without a video camera. I think it is great! However, the internet in CA is very busy during many of the working hours and video during these times is unreliable.

Delicious

I enjoy Delicious and feel that it is a good personal tool, but I don't see how it will scale well. I look forward to hearing other opinions about that.

Facebook

I guess I am old because I find the jumble of things on Facebook just confusing and not fun. Perhaps I need to take control of the interface, but it doesn't seem to be that interesting an investment of time.

Bloglines Exercise

I really like Bloglines! And it is great to be able to have PubMed RSS feeds about topics (as well as Dilbert cartoons). Seems to me that this technology will easily replace set searches that have to be set up repeatedly in individual databases.

Flickr

I am skipping uploading my own photos, but I look forward to our upcoming online exhibits which will be mounted on Flickr.

Sphere and Blog.Ask

these two blog search engines gave me the best results. I actually learned about gaming in the Undergrad Library at the U of Illinois and the feds trying to get Amazon.com's customer list . Two interesting and relevant posts. I prefer the blogs that are more than just opinions.
